Lucio Macchiarella is one of the greatest Italian lyricists of music for children and TV-songs, so much so that he was awarded the Andrea Lo Vecchio Critics' Prize in the 2024 edition of Musicomics, Romics Musica per Immagini Award.
Macchiarella is a singer-songwriter who, since 1979, has also been writing lyrics for television songs, distinguishing himself by his poetry and becoming an essential reference point in this musical genre.
