Cristina D'Avena Special Guest of the XXXI edition

The most beloved voice of cartoon themes returns to make Romics sing!
Cristina D'Avena will be among the protagonists of the XXXI edition of Romics, International Festival of Comics, Animation, Cinema and Games scheduled from 5 to 8 October 2023 in Fiera Roma.

Born in Bologna, Cristina D'Avena made her debut at the age of 3 singing Il valzer del moscerino; as a teenager she signed an exclusive contract and thus became the voice of the song Bambino Pinocchio. Since then he has never stopped to record and sing, recording and singing becoming the only constantly present on Italian television continuously from the early 80’s at least once a day, 365 days a year. She also becomes a famous face on TV when she plays Licia in the children’s series Love me Licia based on the cartoon Kiss me Licia.

In 2012 he celebrated 30 years of career with the birth of the project 30 e poi... composed of CDs that collect original themes of the most famous cartoons of the 80s, 90s and 2000s; unreleased themes, a reinterpretation of the Christmas classic O Holy Night, a cover of the song L'anno che verrà by Lucio Dalla, a DVD, and a Photographic Book.

In the summer of 2014 she launched her own record label, Crioma Music; in 2017 she released Duets - Tutti cantano Cristina and the following year Duets Forever, a collection of some of the most famous cartoon themes reinterpreted by Cristina D'Avena along with some of the most important Italian singers, including Ermal Meta, Noemi, Loredana Bertè, Elodie, Alessandra Amoroso, Nek and many others.   Cristina D'Avena has held and continues to hold numerous concerts with a huge success of audience consisting not only of children, cartoon lovers but also adults who crowd her live performances.

Cristina D'Avena, the most beloved voice of the cartoon themes, known for her unstoppable successes created over 40 years of career, returns to sing for the audience of Romics. The highly anticipated live exhibition will be held Saturday, October 7 at pav. 8 Pala Romics- Great Events and Projections Hall.
