Drawing music: how sounds become images
Angela Forin, musicologist, accompanies the children to a special workshop combining music and drawing where participants will discover how music can inspire images and narratives, Becoming a universal language capable of telling stories and evoking emotions.
The workshop begins with an introduction linking music and images, using an extract from the Disney film "Fantasia". Children will then listen to music ranging from classical music to rock, jazz and film scores. Each listening will be followed by a drawing activity based on the impressions of music.
At the end, the children will share their designs and creative choices with the group, highlighting how the same music can be interpreted in different ways. This moment of sharing stimulates the imagination and encourages people to see music as a source of artistic inspiration.
The workshop offers children the opportunity to express themselves through art and music, developing creative thinking and new modes of expression.
