Florent Sacré - Special Guest

A fascinating journey through the works of Florent Sacré, with a special focus on his latest creation, GreenWood - La Strega Urania, published in Italy by Tunué and realized in collaboration with Barbara Canepa and Anaïs Halard.

Florent Sacré is a multi-faceted talent: French game designer, cartoonist and illustrator. His career started in 1997 at Ubisoft, where he worked on the development of his first video game, Tonic Trouble. Between 1998 and 2000, he led the team to create Rayman: The Great Escape and Rayman Evolution. In 2001, as lead artist, he gives life to the visual universe of Beyond Good and Evil, attracting the attention of Peter Jackson. This meeting brings the Montpellier studio to work on the video game adaptation of King Kong, for which Sacré receives a nomination at the 9th Annual Interactive Achievement Award (DICE Awards) in 2006 thanks to the artistic direction of the project.

Among his many significant projects are also iconic titles such as Assassin’s Creed, where he takes care of the creative and artistic direction of two DLC: Dead Kings (2014) and Jack the Ripper (2015), in addition to the famous franchise of the Rabbids. In 2021, he founded his video game studio, Little Big Frog, and signed important comic book projects with Éditions Oxymore, the publishing house of Barbara Canepa.

At Romics, Florent Sacré will be the protagonist of a series of special events.
