Francesco Fasiolo

Francesco Fasiolo is editor-in-chief of Gedi Visual. Curates the production of documentaries and web series for the Gedi Group’s newspapers such as La Repubblica and La Stampa. Among them, "G8: ritorno a Genova" (2021); "Cronache di una Rivoluzione" (2017), web series by Ezio Mauro on the Russian revolution; "Cronache di un sequestro" (2018), multimedia project on the abduction of Aldo Moro (special mention at the Prix Italia 2018 in the category "Cross platform" and best documentary at the Roma Web Fest). He has curated the editorial supervision of the documentaries Gedi aired at the Rai prime time: "Via Poma. Un mistero italiano" (2023) and "Delitti in famiglia - Il caso Delfino" (2024).
Among his fields of interest, comics and sports. In 2018 he won the Coni-Ussi Prize. He published the essays "Italia da fumetto. Graphic journalism and fiction drawn in the story of the Italian reality of yesterday and today" (Tunué, 2012), "Magic football. Oracles, rituals and scaramanzies: the paradox of the irrational in the balloon" (Ultra, 2022) and with Andrea Guglielmino "16x21 - L'era dei Bonellidi" (Bugs Comics, 2023).
