Giorgio Di Vita

He is a well-known Italian cartoonist, writer and illustrator. He began his artistic career at the age of 19 at the Ok Studio in Rome, where he helped to found one of the first comic schools in the capital. After graduating from the Liceo Artistico and a degree in Letters at La Sapienza, he worked with publishing houses such as Editoriale Domus, Edizioni Panini and Giunti, covering various creative roles.
In 1993 Di Vita joined The Walt Disney Company Italia, creating over 250 stories published in the books Topolino, Paperinik, Paperino Mese and many others. At the same time, it develops its own original characters. He is also the author of the series Pictura, inspired by art history, and the successful book Topomania (2005).
In addition to his career as a cartoonist, Di Vita has taught art history and worked in the field of animation for Rai Cinema. Since 2017 he teaches at the School of Comics and Illustration Pencil ART.
