Italian Preview: "Noryang - la battaglia finale"
"Noryang - The Final Battle" is the concluding chapter of the historical trilogy directed by Kim Han-min, which celebrates the exploits of Admiral Yi Sun-sin, a pivotal figure in the history of Korea. Set in 1598 during the Imjin War, the film focuses on the Battle of Noryang, a crucial moment when Joseon’s naval forces, joined by the Ming dynasty army, clash with the Japanese fleet in an attempt to prevent their retreat.
"Noryang - The final battle" will be presented in Italian absolute preview at Romics, thanks to Minerva Pictures in collaboration with Full Action. After the festival premiere, the film will be available for purchase and rental on all major streaming platforms from 22 October.
Synopsis:
In 1958, as the Imjin War neared its end, Japanese forces prepared to withdraw from Korea. Admiral Yi Sun-sin, determined to prevent future invasions, leads the Joseon fleet, flanked by ships of the Ming dynasty, in an ultimate attempt to destroy the enemy army. The decisive battle takes place in the Noryang Strait, a deadly theater of war where Yi Sun-sin will fight his last and glorious battle.
