Journalism in Comics. Twenty years of Yellow Bill.
The comic can be a powerful tool for investigation and telling of reality. The meeting is an important occasion to celebrate the twenty years of Becco Giallo, the independent publishing house that has made graphic journalism its mission, bringing in Italy investigative comics, news and civic engagement. An important milestone for an editorial project that has been able to give voice to often forgotten stories, transforming the comic into a tool of awareness and deepening. In this panel, Mauro Falchetti, author of Il Golpe Borghese, and Manuel Il delitto Matteotti will discuss the relationship between journalism and comics, the potential of this language to tell the truth and the challenges of the narrative. The images can be transformed into a testimony and critical story of our time; at Romics also an exhibition that tells the 20 years of Becco Giallo.
