La sola cura of Giuseppe Palumbo
Giuseppe Palumbo, a multifaceted and inexhaustible author, celebrated in this edition with the award of the Romic D'Oro, in this meeting he tells about his recent and extraordinary narrative journey through a truly original story of great historical and cultural importance. The story is that of Ludovico Nicola Di Giura, doctor and sinologist from Lucano, between the late nineteenth century and the post-war period, until his death in 1947. Palumbo tells about him in the graphic novel La sola cura. Protagonist and witness of the great change in China, where he stayed for 30 years, Di Giura becomes a prominent physician in the Chinese capital, also treating the emperor. The book was born within the project Lucania Comics & Games, first attempt of a Comics & Games Commission, promoted by APT Basilicata and published by Oblomov. The meeting is led by Enrico Fornaroli.
