Romics on Exhibition – On the board! 30 years of Scuola Romana dei Fumetti
La Scuola Romana dei Fumetti celebrates thirty years of activity, and opens its archives to share with the public an exhibition of unpublished. These are large format drawings made by teachers during the lessons from the 90s to today. Thirty unique and original pieces that, leaving the classrooms to be exposed, acquire a new informative value. The drawing on the blackboard is an important part of the teaching work, its function is to illustrate the techniques and methods of the authors called to teach. It is precisely the different points of view of the cartoon professionals to compose this roundup of black and white images, where we recognize famous characters (from Batman to Spider-Man, from Tarzan to Mickey Mouse, from Hellboy to Dylan Dog), quotes from classical art, anatomical studies, drafts of boards and covers. An extraordinary overview of styles and genres, through the drawings of some of the many authors who teach and have taught at the School: Giancarlo Caracuzzo, Stefano Caselli, Riccardo Colosimo, Cristiano Cucina, Maurizio Di Vincenzo, Simone Gabrielli, Marco Valerio Gallo, Marco Gervasio, Claudio "GREG" Gregori, Marianna Ignazzi, Mauro Laurenti, Pasquale "LILLO" Petrolo, Paolo Morales, Arianna Rea Lorenza Pigliamosche, Massimo Rotundo, Michele Rubini, Eugenio Sicomoro, Gustavo Trigo.
