Romics in the Library

Romics in collaboration with the Institution System of Libraries and Cultural Centers of Rome Capital is pleased to present an exclusive calendar of cultural events dedicated to unveiling the many facets of the comic industry. This initiative has been designed to offer a complete and interactive overview of the most significant aspects of the sector: the author’s approach, styles and different editorial proposals. With a rich and varied calendar, this program aims to stimulate dialogue and curiosity around the art of comics, facilitating meetings with leading authors and publishing experts. The meetings will take place at selected locations in the Rome Library network, providing an ideal platform for sharing ideas and creating a growing community of readers and experts. Direct interaction with the protagonists of the world of comics offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from the voice of experts.

The first event “Tunué e il successo di 7 Crimini” will be held on September 20, at the Joyce Lussu library, from 17.30 to 19.00, with Katja Centomo and Emanuele Sciarretta, creators of the crime series "Sette crimini"  and Massimiliano Clemente, Editorial Director Tunué.

Tunué, a publishing house specialized in the production of graphic novels, offers a dialogue on its editorial line and the editorial process, to one of its most successful collections: the innovative project entitled Seven Crimes, composed of seven self-concluding Graphic Novels united by a common thread.
The authors Katja Centomo and Emanuele Sciarretta accompany the reader on a journey through the themes of crime and law, dealing with topics such as fraud, violence, extortion, criminal association, kidnapping, theft and murder. To enhance the series, the advice of Massimo Picozzi, a well-known psychiatrist and writer, who at the end of each volume reveals the truth behind the cases of fiction, offering the reader a real point of view and informed about each crime treated.

The Meeting, promoted by Romics and the Institution System of Libraries and Cultural Centers of Rome in collaboration with Tunué, takes us to discover the behind-the-scenes of one of the most original and appreciated publishing projects of the Italian panorama.
