Simone Bianchi: pilgrim among the spaces

The exhibition is dedicated to the art of Simone Bianchi, to the various facets and great collaborations of the artist.
A journey consisting of 20 original works of extraordinary beauty, through the superheroes and supercactive MARVEL and DC Comics, up to Star Wars, Spawn and Conan. The works were chosen personally by Simone Bianchi, with a transversal look at his career, on the occasion of the Celebration of the illustrator with the award of the Romics D'Oro.
In the exhibition we find some preliminary studies and the final corresponding, an exceptional experience that allows us to perceive all the work and the steps that go through the processing of illustration. Pencil, ink, acrylic, on cardboard and canvas, in Bianchi’s works we perceive the materiality, the brushstroke, the artist’s intention.
A section of the exhibition is dedicated to Batman, in homage to the 85 years of the dark knight. Among the works we find the suggestive Batman - The Gotham Gargoyle and the preliminary study; Batman with Molly in the Fear State Omega Variant Cover #1; the Variant Cover of Batman #121 2023 with Robin and Mr. Freeze; the extraordinary preliminary of Batman #7, published in March 2024. An unmissable tribute to Joker, with The War Within pag. 8 of the Commemorative Roll dedicated to the 80 years of Joker to close with Knight Terror Joker Variant Cover #1, published in July 2023, with definitive and preliminary. Batman is also the protagonist of the poster of Romics XXXII, with an extraordinary illustration made by Bianchi.
We then dive into Marvel, with Thor, Venom and Wolverine, until the variant cover of X-Men #30, the sixtieth anniversary commemorative issue, published in January 2024. Preview the preliminary study of The Power Of The Villans, detailed illustration with the supercactive Marvel.
Then some surprises: the preliminary version of Star Wars #1, released in March 2015, the original version was acquired by George Lucas; and then an extraordinary tribute to Conan and finally the Spawn Scorched Cover #15.
