
Alessandro Mazzetti, in art "Ganassa" was born in Milan in 1982, from an early age he followed the suggestions of his grandfather Mario Mazzetti, painter of central Italy, but adding the narrative component in his drawings. Small stories of heroes, warriors and maidens begin to be born that slowly come to outline a love for fiction, action and eros. The design of the female figure is in fact a passion that over the years will grow until the birth of the working alter ego of Alessandro: the "Ganassa". His muse discinte girls of Japanese manga as the muscular superheroines, passing through the Italian authors such as Manara, Frezzato and Serpieri. The technical foundations of drawing acquired at the artistic high school, while those of script and fiction at the academy of Brera in Milan, where he graduated in multimedia communication with specialties in cinema and video. Also in that of Brera teaches "communication theory", a course on theatrical/ performative imprint. He has worked with Italian and foreign publishing houses since the age of 18, then specializing in the work of illustrator and cartoonist for abroad. His side work includes directing, art director, writing, scriptwriting and storyboarding, with an ever-present passion for teaching.
