In comics class with Gaetano and Zolletta

Learning to read a comic book… and maybe creating your own: with "A comic book lesson with Gaetano and Zolletta" the fun becomes discovery. The event, created in collaboration with Gallucci, brings Romics a special workshop dedicated to girls, boys, and families curious to explore the language of talking clouds.

The meeting was led by Silvia Vecchini, author of stories for children and novels for young adults who meets readers wherever there are curious eyes and ears, and Sualzo, author and illustrator who has been drawing comic series for the monthly magazine GBaby since 2008 and collaborated with Radio2 on the Disegni DiVersi project, which later became a comic book.

At the center of the meeting are Gaetano and Zolletta, father and son protagonists of stories full of irony and tenderness: surprising birthday parties, first days of school, longing for snow, days at the beach that turn into unpredictable adventures. Stories about everyday life, fantasy, and the value of being together, enriched with extra materials and downloadable content to continue playing with comics even at home.

An opportunity to discover how to read a panel, how cartoons and balloons are created, and how to transform an idea into a drawn story, learning that comics are not just to be read… but also to be invented.
