Cristian Posocco graduated in Japanese Language and Literature at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice with a semiotic thesis on manga. After training in the fanzine Kamikaze, he collaborates with various magazines in the sector, including eMotion, of which he is co-founder. In 2005 he published the essay MangArt, aesthetic forms and language of Japanese comics. From 2006 to 2016 he was editorial director of Flashbook Edizioni; since September 2016 he has been manga publishing manager of Edizioni Star Comics; in 2023 he joined the editorial board of Manga Issho.
In addition to comics, he loves music and food and wine (also earning a university master's degree in Food and Wine Culture).
