Dario De Rosa

Dario De Rosa, born in Naples on 31 January 1983, is an actor, voice actor, singer and teacher. His training has been rich and varied. He studied body mime with Michele Monetta and MariseFlach, acting with masters of the caliber of Renato Carpentieri, Francesca De Sapio (Stanislavskij-Strasberg method) and Peter Clough. In addition, he learned tap-dancing with Giorgio De Bortoli and singing with the masters R. Passaro, R. Straffi and G. Sabbatini. He perfected the English language with a native speaker teacher and deepened diction and phonetics with voice actors Alberto Angrisano and Mirta Pepe. In 2013 he obtained a diploma in singing at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. Between 2013 and 2015 he was part of the Choir of the Vatican Vicariate, also performing for Pope Francis.
From a professional point of view, Dario started his career in the Italian theatres, working from 2001 to 2008 in important productions with about 900 performances, including C'era una volta... Scugnizzi who won the 2003 Eti award for best musical of the year. In cinema he has collaborated with directors such as Gianni Amelio for La tenerezza and the brothers Frazzi for Certi bambini. On television he has played roles in numerous fiction, including A Place in the Sun, The Team, Salvo d'Acquisto, Cephalonia, Assunta Spina, All Crazy for Love, Caruso, Don Matteo 7, Squadra Antimafia 6 and The Crimes of the Cook.
Since 2008 he has been based in Rome, where he works as a voice actor and singer-voice actor. He has voiced the young Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and has sung in numerous songs and series such as Masha & Bear, Little Big Timmy, The Dinosaur Train, Jackie Chan’s Return, Lunar Jim, Battle spirit, Machine robot Rescue and InazumaEleven 1 edition. Currently teaching diction and acting in the course Parliamo bène.
