Educational Visits to Romics 37: An Educational Journey Through Creativity and Innovation

On the occasion of the 37th edition of Romics, the Educational Visits program returns on Thursday, October 1, and Friday, October 2, 2026, offering students and teachers a unique learning experience within the International Festival of Comics, Animation, Cinema and Games.

Through Romics for Schools, students will have the opportunity to explore the languages of contemporary creativity and gain first-hand insight into the work of Italian and international professionals in the fields of comics, illustration, publishing, cinema, animation, visual effects, and video games.

The activities are presented in a clear and inspiring way, giving students the opportunity to interact with industry professionals and deepen their interests.

The full programme for schools is currently being finalized and will include presentations, workshops, and activities for students of all age groups. Participants will have the opportunity to attend, for example, film-related events, sessions exploring the world of video games, drawing workshops, and introductions to comics, as well as meet-and-greets with authors and publishing presentations organized in collaboration with leading publishing houses.

Among the initiatives on the programme, Simple&Madama will present a preview of Frankenstein, the new comic from Tunué’s “Da Paura!” series, which introduces younger readers to the great classics of horror through a gentle, fun style—with just a few chills along the way.

Michela Rossi and Claudia Conte will be the featured guests of the event dedicated to Le parole nel pozzo (Bakemono Lab), designed to help children discover and explore their emotions through storytelling, drawing, and play.

Together with Luca Nardi, astrophysicist and science communicator, we will try to answer some of the most fascinating questions about our planet and the universe—questions that have long featured in works of science fiction and popular culture.

There will also be a meeting with Paolo Barbieri, the renowned Italian illustrator celebrated for his fantasy and mythological artwork.

Together with Simone Legno, this edition’s Romics d’Oro recipient, an event will offer a behind-the-scenes look at his artistic journey and the world of kawaii culture.

The participation fee is €7.00 per student. Admission is free of charge for students with disabilities and accompanying teachers.

Registration is open until September 21, 2026.
