Everyone on stage! cinema explained to children

What is the purpose of the ‘Ciak’? What does the script supervisor do? The role is called ‘director of photography’, but they don’t actually take photos – why is that? How is fake snow made? Is it true that interns just make photocopies? Who are the stuntmen? Why is one of the most important roles on set called a ‘runner’? But above all: whose blood is that?
The book *Il cinema spiegato ai bambini e alle bambine* (BeccoGiallo) aims to answer these (and many other) questions, to spark curiosity in younger readers and encourage them to watch films from a new perspective.
Together with the authors Maria Scoglio and Lisa Riccardi, a workshop and reading session for budding film buffs to share the magic of cinema with the little ones.
Recommended age: children aged 7 to 12.
