Born in Milan in 1988, Giorgio Maria Romanelli, known by his pen name Jo, is an Italian mangaka who expresses his artistic and philosophical vision through the battle shōnen genre. Over the years, he has explored various forms of expression, from illustration – with *Ma il sole quanti raggi ha?* (Edicart) – to the creation of animated music videos for *The Hills*.
Passionate about storytelling through images, he is the author of works such as *Chester*, *Equilibrio* (EF Edizioni), *L’Anello Mancante* (Re Nudo) and *Relive*. Whilst working on *Il cacciatore di AI* (Tora Edizioni), a work in which he experimented with cyberpunk atmospheres for the first time, he lived in Japan to immerse himself in the culture and rhythms of the country that gave rise to manga.
