Originally from the Heart of  England, Jim studied graphics at Staffordshire University before working in animation and moving south to London.
After a further period in education at Kingston University he started his career in television as an Assistant Art Director.

After a brief stint doing storyboards for TV,on Gerry Andersons Space Precinct, Jims first film was Lost in Space, quickly followed by Event Horizon and a string of smaller movies.

A run on such films as Die Another Day, Tomb Raider 2 and The Phantom of the Opera saw his reputation grow.

Now with over 30 years experience in the industry and with more than 35 films to his name, Jim is one of the most sort after Storyboard Artists in the UK.
His credits include: 1917, Wonder Woman 1984, Spectre, Skyfall, Gravity, Batman Begins, Dark Knight, four Harry Potter films, Solo: a Star Wars Story, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and many more.

Jim continues to work on Features and TV projects from his studio in the South East of  England and abroad.
