Mario Grossi was born in Pisa and lives in Frascati. He obtained a diploma in Classical High School and a degree in Geological Sciences. After a lifetime spent in industry as head of the technical office of a French multinational, he devoted himself to his humanistic passions. Compulsive reader sometimes devotes himself to writing. He collaborated with the Ezra Pound Cultural Circle and the Territorio Tuscolano cultural association of Frascati in organizing events, exhibitions, and cultural meetings. He collaborated with the online magazine Il Fondo with interviews, articles and reviews. His speeches have appeared sporadically in other online newspapers. He collaborates with the literary magazine “Frascati Poesia” and with the newly formed online Magazine “Il Fondo2” with articles and reviews. He has published short stories for Idrovolante Edizioni, Rudis Edizioni, Settimo Sigillo, and GSE Edizioni; for Castel Negrino, the essay “Tim Burton, the Dark Playroom” and the short essay “Battiato - Sgalambro, Of Man, of the World, of Nothingness”, in the collective volume Franco Battiato, Along the Paths to Essence.
