Maurizio Solofra

A sound professional with over forty years of experience in dubbing and audio post-production, he has overseen the supervision and sound finalization of thousands of works across television, streaming, film, and animation.
Throughout his career he has contributed to the Italian production of series that have marked the history of television, accompanying the evolution of the audiovisual market from the major productions of the ’80s and ’90s to the most recent successes of international platforms.
In the serial landscape he has worked on iconic titles such as “Dynasty”, “Beverly Hills 90210” and “The Beauty of Women”, up to global productions such as “Succession”, “True Detective”, “Dune: Prophecy”, “Gotham”, “Supergirl”, “Person of Interest”, “Riverdale” and the most recent contemporary productions such as “The Pitt”.
In the film field he has curated the audio post-production of works by internationally renowned directors and of important global productions, including “The Hate” by Mathieu Kassovitz, “Killers of the Flower Moon”, “The Fabelmans”, “The Post”, “The Imitation Game”, “Bombshell – The Voice of Scandal”, as well as successful franchises such as the “John Wick” saga, the “After and Valerian saga and the city of a thousand planets”. Among the most recent titles is “Maria” by Pablo Larraín.
He also played a significant role in the animation industry, contributing to the inauguration and Italian development of iconic franchises such as “Family Guy”, ”The Simpsons”, “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”, ” Scooby-Doo, Looney Tunes” and “Ben 10”, as well as feature-length arthouse films such as “The Blue Arrow” by Enzo D'Alò.
