Mikel Janín at Romics 37

One of the greatest interpreters of contemporary superhero comics is coming to Romics 37. Spanish artist Mikel Janín, one of DC Comics’ leading talents and the artist behind the extraordinary Batman run written by Tom King, will be a guest at the event, where he will meet fans and audiences.

Originally trained as an architect, Janín decided in 2010 to devote himself entirely to comics. The following year, he made his DC Comics debut with Flashpoint: Deadman and the Flying Graysons, beginning a collaboration that would establish him as one of the most acclaimed artists on the international comics scene.

Throughout his career, he has worked on some of the most beloved series in the DC Universe, including Justice League Dark, Batman, Batman Eternal, Grayson, Wonder Woman, Superman and the Authority, Detective Comics, and Justice Society of America. His long-running work on Batman, created alongside writer Tom King, became a landmark for readers, also thanks to iconic storylines such as the celebrated wedding between Batman and Catwoman.
