Mirka Andolfo at Romics 37

Among the most successful Italian authors on the international scene, Mirka Andolfo will be among the guests of Romics 37. An award-winning writer, illustrator, and cartoonist, she has won over audiences and critics with a personal narrative voice and a vibrant, instantly recognizable visual style.
Author of works such as ControNatura, Mercy, Sweet Paprika and Blasfamous, she has sold over a million copies worldwide and her books have been translated into more than 25 countries. In the United States, it is published primarily by Image Comics and DSTLRY, which he helped found. Sweet Paprika, one of his biggest hits, became a transmedia project and was also published in Japan by Kadokawa.
Since 2015, she has collaborated with DC Comics, working on characters such as Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Green Arrow and Batman. In 2020, she was the first Italian author to write and draw a DC story for Harley Quinn: Black+White+Red. He has also collaborated with Marvel, Disney, BOOM! Studios and Dynamite Entertainment, moving between arthouse comics and major international franchises.
Art Director of Arancia Studio and, since 2026, Artistic Director of the Genoa branch of the International School of Comics, Mirka Andolfo is today one of the most recognizable Italian voices in international comics.
