Noemi Marchica is an Italian set designer and has been working for years on film, television, series, music videos, and special projects. A journey that has led her to cross very different genres and worlds: from her long experience with “Inspector Coliandro” to the contemporary atmospheres of “SKAM Italia” and “Prisma”, up to the retro and comic-book universe of the “Diabolik” trilogy.
Over the years she has collaborated with directors such as the Manetti Bros., Daniele Vicari, Manfredi Lucibello, Tiziano Russo, Luna Gualano and Leonardo Di Costanzo. Her film credits include “Love and Crime”, “US Palmese”, “Killing Tires”, “Don't Hang Up”, “All My Nights”, “Show Yourself”, and “The War of Tiburtino III”. Her work earned her two David di Donatello nominations for Best Production Design.
Alongside cinema and series, she also worked in the music world, making music videos for, among others, Max Pezzali, and on several special projects together with artists, taking his work even outside the most traditional sets.
After so many years, the thing that continues to fascinate her most about set design is precisely the possibility of never really doing the same job: changing era, genre and atmosphere, imagining a different world each time and finding ways to make it real.
