Pierpaolo Pasquini
Pierpaolo Pasquini, cartoonist and illustrator born in Rome on April 9, 1968.
I made my debut in 1994 in Phoenix's third and final album, “Dark Side”, which tells the story of Pietro Battaglia's early origins while I was attending the International School of Comics.
In the following years he began collaborating with a Ladispoli magazine, “Il curioso”, in which he published humorous cartoons monthly.
In 2011 I founded Prankster Comics, of which I was a founding member and author until February 2019.
In 2010 I published horror “Penombra” for Bottero editions
In 2011 he published horror “Shadowplay”, of which he created the first 5 issues with Prankster Comics.
In 2017 I published the first issue of “Wolfskin Chronicles” again for Prankster Comics.
In 2018 I participated in the digital coloring course at the Roman School of Comics.
2011/2015 Radio Speaker for Eleven Web Radio with the Comics Noise program
In 2021 I founded the publishing house Breakdown Comics and, with the screenwriter Valentina Di Stefano, published “SteamCode”, a work of the steampunk genre set in a Rome of the late 19th century, of which two issues and a spin-off entitled “I diari di Artemisia” (2023) were released. The English-translated version of the first issue of “SteamCode” was also printed for the foreign market.
2025 I start working on the adaptation of the UFO Shado comic series
From May 7th to 10th 2026 I will be the guest of honor at the Deepcon 2026 convention in Fiuggi
May 12, 2026 I receive the award “Voices and Visions” in the Campidoglio for information and culture dedicated to those who, through journalism, comics and digital media, know how to give voice to reality and transform it into a narrative capable of informing, exciting and leaving a trace
Currently engaged in comics courses, workshops and participation in trade fairs in the sector.
