R.M. Guéra, the Serbian master of the Ninth Art, will be a guest at the 37th edition of Romics.

A Serbian master of the Ninth Art, R.M. Guéra made his debut in the comics world in 1982 in the former Yugoslavia, working on Western series such as Elmer Jones, Chuck Lorrimer, and Texas Riders. His work has since been published in Spain, France, and the United States, earning him international acclaim.

His collaboration with writer Jason Aaron led to the critically acclaimed series Scalped and The Goddamned. Together with Jason Latour, he also created the graphic novel adaptation of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained.

In 2019, he worked for Sergio Bonelli Editore on the special volume Tex: The Man with the Golden Guns, written by Pasquale Ruju. For the British market, he also illustrated several Judge Dredd stories written by Rob Williams.

In 2025, his work was celebrated by Rome's CArt Gallery with the exhibition Pencils like Pistols, Ink like Blood: The Art of R.M. Guéra, showcasing the intensity of his artwork and the powerful storytelling of his pages.
