Space Jam celebrates 30 years at Romics

An exhibition of "talking walls" and fun activations brings Romics materials related to the global celebration of the 30th anniversary of an absolute icon of the 90s: Space Jam, the 1996 film, directed by Joe Pytka and starring Michael Jordan and Bill Murray, it redefined the collective imagination by transforming Looney Tunes into true sports legends and quickly becoming a cult classic for generations of fans.
On display are some still demonstration frames and official posters of the work, which pioneeringly combined live action footage and 2D/3D animation, profiles of the most iconic characters of the Tune Squad protagonist of the story and, for the first time exhibited in Italy, the official comic that accompanied the transmedia launch of the film and some interpretations of the characters by a group of young illustration talents from the European Institute of Design in Rome (pictured). To play the film directly, which will return to Italian theaters from May 4th to 6th, the exhibition is accompanied by a fun playing field inspired by the story, in collaboration with Warner Bros. Entertainment Italy.
