Valerio Schiti
Valerio Schiti is one of the greatest contemporary Italian cartoonists and, without a doubt, one of the most prolific. Internationally recognized for his work at Marvel Comics, his bibliography includes GODS, Avengers and currently Captain America.
Graduated in architecture, Schiti studied at the International School of Comics in Rome. His professional debut in the American market came in 2010 with a story included in Angel #37, published by IDW, followed by titles such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesmicro series: Donatello and Battle Beasts.
During this time, he met C. B. Cebulski, who, impressed by his dynamism and narrative ability, proposed that he start collaborating with Marvel.
In 2012 he made his debut as the main artist on Journeyinto Mystery and signed his first exclusive contract with Marvel. He later worked on iconic series such as Mighty Avengers, New Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy.
Recognized as one of the All-new Young Guns in 2014, other Marvel titles Valerio Schiti has worked on in recent years include Avengers AI, Mighty Thor, Marvel 2 in One and, among others, Tony Stark: Iron Man.
He has also created three major Marvel events: Empyre (which won the GLAAD Award for Outstanding Comic Book in 2021), X-Men: Inferno and AX: Judgment Day, as well as GODS, the mini-series that reimagines Marvel mythology.
He is currently working on the relaunch of Captain America.
