30 years with Warangel

At Romics, a special event will be dedicated to Warangel, the board game created and illustrated by Angelo Porazzi.

During the session “30 Years with Warangel,” Porazzi will share with the audience the story of the project, which originated from acrylic paintings made about forty years ago and was developed over time into a complete board game, entirely designed and illustrated by the author.

Warangel is a fantasy wargame set in a universe inhabited by over 120 warrior races, each with its own characteristics and territories, represented on hexagonal maps that make up the game world.

Throughout the event, Angelo Porazzi will retrace the key stages in the creation and evolution of Warangel, sharing anecdotes, curiosities, and the creative journey that led to the construction of this gaming universe.

An opportunity to discover up close the story of an independent board game that, over the years, has built a community of enthusiasts and continues to be featured at numerous events dedicated to gaming and pop culture.
