Chris Darril

Chris Darril is an Italian artist, writer and director. Creator of "Bye Sweet Carole" and "Remothered" series, he is officially recognized among the most influential artists in the Italian video game scene due to several record-breaking achievements and also recognized for "bridging the gap between video games and the art of cinema". With his "Bye Sweet Carole" he achieved a historic milestone as the first Italian production ever to receive an Annie Awards nomination for a Video Game, the first italian videogame to receive a Webby Awards nomination and the most nominated italian video game in the history of the NAVGTR Awards with a record of six. Darril is a jury member at the BAFTA Awards and also a committee member at SIG-IGDA. Over the years he has collaborated with Takashi Shimizu (Ju-On/The Grudge), Nobuko Toda (Metal Gear Solid IV: Guns of Patriots, Halo V) and has been largely praised by artists such as Keiichiro Toyama (Silent Hill), Jean-Luc Cano (Life is Strange) and Hidetaka "Swery65" Suehiro (Deadly Premonition). He is now represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in Los Angeles.
