Fabrizia Castagnoli
She trained in theater at the Teatro Stabile in Genoa, directed by Luigi Squarzina.
She worked for years in theater with Squarzina himself, Maurizio Scaparro, and Gabriele Lavia, before moving to the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, where she played Smeraldina alongside Ferruccio Soleri, Strehler's great Arlecchino.
She has had a long career in radio, in screenplays and plays broadcast by Rai, and has also won the Abano Terme award for best radio actress.
A voice actress, adapter, and dubbing director, she currently teaches the dubbing course at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
She is a member of the ADID (Association of Dubbing Directors) board and is the only woman
on the board of directors of the Nuovo Imaie institute: the largest collecting society for artists' rights.
