Franco Busatta

Born in Marmirolo (MN) in 1959. Since 1987 he lives and works in Milan. From 1978 to 1984 he is part of the experimental theatre group Ipadò. In 1980 he was one of the founders of Fumo di China. Since 1993 he has been editor at Bonelli. Books of comic book experimentation by him: "Sorry, Sadik, have you seen Diabolik?" (with Paolo Bacilieri) , published by PuntoZero in 2001, "Il Cavaliere Nero", of 2003, published by Hazard, "Flashback - Memorie dal fumetto italiano" and "Killing - Piombo rovente", (with the artist Stefano Arienti), both printed by if Edizioni, respectively in 2005 and 2006. He wrote about the Simpsons, Patty Pravo, Sergio Bonelli & Tex ("Come Tex non c'è nessuno", Mondadori). He is the creator of the comic book criticism series Making Of. In 2017, for SBE, with Federico Maggioni he published the book "Tiziano Sclavi il narratore dell'Incubo". The Bonelli Titles are edited by him: Napoleone, Jan Dix and Orfani. He is responsible for all the volumes that Mondadori has dedicated to the Bonelli characters. Since 2013 he is coordinator of Dylan Dog. From 2020 he is also the curator of the bimonthly Dylan Dog Oldboy on which adventures set in the eighties appear.
