Giuseppe Quintavalle was born in Cosenza on April 25, 1963. Graduated in Medicine and Surgery in Rome, he is a specialist in Psychiatry and registered in the register of Psychotherapists. He is currently General Manager of ASL Roma 1, a healthcare company with approximately 7,500 operators and approximately 1 million inhabitants. From 1994 to today he has held increasingly responsible positions, which over thirty years have allowed him to gain in-depth professional experience as general manager in the public health sector, a position he has also held simultaneously at multiple companies. He is President of FIASO (Italian Federation of Health and Hospital Authorities).
Author of numerous publications in national and international journals and speaker at conferences on issues related to the management and organization of healthcare systems, he teaches undergraduate and graduate programs.
