Marco Mete
After attending the National Academy of Dramatic Arts, he immediately began performing in theater, first in private companies such as the Compagnia Repertorio Dusiano with Lydia Alfonsi and in public companies, such as the Stabile di Trieste. He then formed a company with Geppy Gleyeses, Lino Spadaro, and Stefanella Marrama, with whom he performed, of which he was also a writer and director, on tour in Europe and America. He later staged, as a director, many Italian authors including Santanelli, De Chiara, foreigners such as Brecht and Weill, Labiche and many comedies written and directed by him.
In the meantime he also began to take care of dubbing.
He has given his voice to many actors including: Robin Williams,Bruce Willis, Kevin Bacon, Jeff Daniels, Bill Pullman, Billy Crystal, Martin Lawrence, Kenneth Branagh, Aidan Quinn, Michael Keaton, Fabrizio Luchini, and many others.
He is the voice of Brent Spiner (Data) in Star Trek Next Generation.
He is the voice of the XII Doctor Who.
He is the voice of Kenneth Branagh in “Murder on the Orient Express”, Murder on the Nile and “Murder in Venice”.
He is the voice of many cartoons and animated films: Roger Rabbit, Duffy Duck, Scuttle, Chicken (Cow and Chicken).
There are also many dubbing directions and adaptations (all the films by Nolan, Guy Ritchie and others). Also recently Oppenheimer, Avatar 3Fire and Ash, The Wizard of the Kremlin and soon The Odyssey (by Nolan). And for Audible he directed, among other things, the audio films Sandman and Wastelanders and many audio dramas.
In 2019 he was Trigorin in Chekhov's “The Seagull” and in 2020 Steve Arnold in Ronald Harwood's “Furtwangler, The Trial of Art” in Teatro, directed by Ennio Coltorti.
He has conducted many Internships and Masters on Dubbing, Mask Use, Acting Techniques, Character Construction, Improvisation and Voice Use. He has conducted several Master's degrees in Film and Television Adaptation.
