
Raffaele Bortone
Born in Ceraso (SA) on 2 June 1966.
Author, director and television producer. His works have been selected in major events of the sector, including Cartoons on the Bay, I Castelli Animati, Cartoombria, Cartoon Forum and participates with its products in the most important international audiovisual markets (MIFA, MipCOM, MipTV, American Film Market). As a character designer he created the characters of the TV series "Turist" and "Baydog" for the CARICARTOON in Vienna, also supervising the storyboards and layouts for the SPI International in New York.
For RAI he collaborated on the creation of storyboards for the series "Lupo Alberto" and "Spaghetti Family"; also he was responsible for the animation sector for the series "Farhat - Il Principe del deserto", produced by RAI together with Mondo TV. He is director of the TV cartoon series "Lampadino e Caramella nel MagiRegno degli Zampa" and "I Saurini e i Viaggi del Meteorite Nero", which he also created.
