Stefanella Marrama
Born in Rome, Stefanella Marrama graduated from the Academy of Dramatic Art "Silvio D'Amico" under the direction of Renzo Tian. His career ranges from theatre to dubbing, directing and adapting dialogues for cinema and television.
Since 2001 he has been directing dubbing, adapting and supervising numerous series and films for Fox, Disney Channel, RAI, Netflix and other platforms. His best known works include "Miraculous - The stories of Ladybug and Chat Noir", "Castle", "Prison Break", "Iron Fist", "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" and several titles from the "Star Trek" saga. He has received prestigious awards, including the Romics Award at the Grand Gala of Dubbing for the best direction of an animated series and the Audience Award at the National Dubbing Festival "The Voices of Cinema" for the film Everything, Everything.
From 1982 to 2000 she was one of the most popular voices in Italian dubbing, giving voice to actresses such as Robin Wright, Julianne Moore, Joan Cusack and Mary Steenburgen, and dubbing famous movies and TV series. He has also worked in the dubbing of animated films, including the "Lake’s Spell" saga.
Active also in theatre, she has worked with important companies such as the Greek Theatre of Syracuse, the Teatro Stabile del Friuli Venezia Giulia and the Company of Peppino De Filippo. In 1979 she received the Gino Cervi Award for best new stage actress.
From 1996 to 2002 she was a member of the Sefit CDC Dubbing Company and participated in four editions of the television program Verdetto Finale.
