The Juries of the 5th Edition of MUSICOMICS – Romics Award for Music for Images
On the occasion of the 37th edition of Romics, the fifth edition of MUSICOMICS – Premio Romics Musica per Immagini for Images will take place. Conceived and promoted by Romics, with the creative direction of musician Mirko Fabbreschi, the Musicomics Award honors outstanding professionals in the field of music for images, with a special focus on music for animation, video games, cinema, and genre television series.
The Award Jury
Chaired by Maestro Vince Tempera, one of the most distinguished figures in the Italian music scene, the Award Jury also includes:
Ginevra Nervi – Composer, producer, and performer, she combines electronic music, vocal experimentation, and soundscape research. She has composed numerous film and audiovisual scores and, in 2026, received a Camille Awards nomination for 18 Buracos para o Paraíso. She also performed a contemporary reinterpretation of the Italian National Anthem during the opening ceremony of the Verona Paralympic Games.
Paolo Audino – Author, composer, singer-songwriter, and cartoonist. He wrote successful songs such as Brivido Felino for Mina and Adriano Celentano and Per Noi for Andrea Bocelli. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists including Amedeo Minghi, Luca Barbarossa, and Jalisse, while also pursuing an extensive career as an illustrator and animation creator, most notably as the creator of the character Il Gatto Mascherato.
The Award Jury will select the winners in the following competition categories: (Best Original Score, Best Video Game Score, Best Song, Best Musical Dubbing, Best Film & TV Performer.
The Selection Jury
The finalist works were selected by a technical jury made up of experts in music for images and professionals from the audiovisual industry. Their expertise guided the careful evaluation of all submissions.
The Press Jury
Composed of journalists, music critics, and communication professionals, the Press Jury will present the Andrea Lo Vecchio Critics' Award, created to recognize creativity, originality, and innovation across all the competing works.
